Jaquie’s Reflection #4

As my second week continues with research, it is mostly at random. I am sorting out and conquering some of the topics and questions I had written down on my notepad, I feel as if I reached capacity for research on the major topics such as the healthcare systems around the world and what they know about COVID-19. I am still looking at the live science updates to see if there is any major news or change that could help me with my project. As of right now, I have been looking closely at the FDA and CDC websites to get any live/daily updates.
I started to look into the vaccines/antibodies tests and how the FDA wasn’t approving them which I thought was interesting. However, I came across the plasma transplant that is starting to help people. I went into further detail of the science and the outcome of these patients and how it could be one of the saviors of this virus. I also looked into all the restrictions of the top 10 countries with the virus – specially, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. I find it fascinating looking through all the restrictions and comparing it to ours here in the United States, seems as if they are handling it a lot better! For the upcoming week, I hope to listen to more podcasts as well as going back to the healthcare book I started reading. I also want to go through my survey answers as I have more than 70 to look through.
I have attached my notes below.
