I feel that my quick sketches and anatomy studies are going pretty well. Every once in a while, I struggle to find the dynamism in a certain pose, but through repetition I am able to capture it. I am trying to push my line quality, both in my contour lines and core shadows, in order to make interesting images. For example, I am now studying the abs, which ideally are a grid of rectangles. But due to genetics, the divisions of the abs are often asymmetrical and angled, allowing for dynamic shadow shapes.

My watercolor and charcoal test went pretty well. I am excited to apply this method to my final painting.
