Interview With Jodi Kantor

We met with Ms. Kantor in the Cafeteria of the New York Times. We asked her some questions, and then she quickly gave us a tour of the Newsroom. It was a very good and educational experience for our group.

Us at Columbia University!!

At our field work, we met with Dan O’Flaherty, who is a professor at Columbia University, but he has studied homelessness and written two books on it in the past. We talked to him about many things like how race affects homelessness, the different types of homelessness, and what we can do to help.

Fieldwork With Caroline Quigley

First, we talked a bit with Caroline about how women are represented in the media. Then we watched a montage of television history (30 years) of how women are showed. We saw a lot of rich, blonde, skinny, white girls who hate school and are boy crazy.
