What I learned about Social Justice “work” and/or Civil and Human rights “work” from this fieldwork:
I learned about how over-policing in schools does not benefit the children, but makes learning environments uncomfortable. I also learned about how the government place black people in the public housing in poor districts so white people can have access to higher quality necessities.
