Washington Square Park Interviews
On January 17th, Niro and I went to Washington Square Park, to interview random people, to see how some of society views this issue. We asked 3 questions. The questions were all surrounding the current climate for LGBTQIA+ kids and their mental health. We got many answers about the election, and Donald Trump running America, and how it can’t be easy growing up in such a toxic society, however, lots of people talked about how the climate has progressed and gotten more stable. We interviewed a woman from Australia, and she told us about how she thinks the climate is like in different places, and how it’s more supportive than other countries. Overall, we learned a lot from different people, and learning all of this is so helpful for our project.
