What I learned about Social Justice “work” and/or Civil and Human rights “work” from this fieldwork:
I learned about the many problems facing the kids we talked to and what they knew about the situation we are talking about. A lot of the things we heard confirmed what I originally thought, but with some differences as well. I also learned that they did not know anything about the situation between teacher unions and schools.
