What I learned about Social Justice “work” and/or Civil and Human rights “work” from this fieldwork:
We learned about Michelle Picard’s history as a hockey player, and the discrimination she received as a women playing hockey. She also told us about activism in the NWHL. Also we learned about her personal experience trying to speak up and all the work she did as an acivist.
