What I learned about Social Justice “work” and/or Civil and Human rights “work” from this fieldwork:
We learned how the Keven Durant Charity Foundation has done a lot to help smaller communities and they have given lots of kids the opportunity to become athletes. We learned how athletes respond when they get a negative response to a comment they made. We learned the difficulty levels of using your voice during COVID-19. We learned about another person who took a protest against the anthem.
