What I learned about Social Justice “work” and/or Civil and Human rights “work” from this fieldwork:
We learned about how important it is for athletes to speak out and use their voice. We also learned about how hes done work promoting activism in sports throughout his life. He spoke about how it is getting easier for athletes to speak out and use their voice. Also that in covid, athletes are speaking more.
