Person (people) with whom I met and their job titles: Happy Walters

Type of Fieldwork: Direct Action

What I did:

we met him and had a conversation about the obligation of taking action. he explained the charities his clients do and how they take action.

What I learned:

I learned that the agents have really good relationships with there clients. His point was it should be a obligation to speak out but its not happening. He said Dearron Foxx has a breast cancer fund because his family has struggled with that. every athlete he works fort has a special thing they do that connects to them.

What I learned about Social Justice “work” and/or Civil and Human rights “work” from this fieldwork:

Happy mostly works with NBA athletes. He really supports the NFL cause when they customize cleats and sell them to give the money to charity. Happy lives in Puerto Rico he has been helping his community from the terrible natural disaster that occurred. But His company has been scouting and going to local highschools scouting.
