What I did:

We facedtimed Ime Udoka and asked him questions about the organization.

What I learned:

We learned that Gregg Poppivich goes to a high school once a month. He also takes him to a game. We also learned that social action is more noticeable. In the ’90s this didn’t happen, but now everybody has access to social media. I also learned that the organazition isn’t doing any social justice work but indivisual players are.

What I learned about Social Justice “work” and/or Civil and Human rights “work” from this fieldwork:

How Gregg Poppivich goes to a poor high shcool and talks to them and helps them with school. He does this every month so twelve time a year. Then he takes them to a spurs game. I think morep eople should do this becusae these kids don’t get the same education as other people. Alaso becuase they are poor they proboly don’t get to go to basketball games very often.
