Poverty In Education: Dropping Out

Our group is devoted to helping teens in NYC break the treacherous cycle of poverty. It has been proven that the number one reason that teens leave school in some areas is that they need to make money for their family to survive. Leaving high school leads children into having the same kind of life as their parents, therefore, continuing the cycle of poverty and elevating their children’s chances of being in the cycle of poverty.
