What I did:

We watched a movie by Dan Lohas called “When I Came Home” the movie follows a man named Herold, an Iraq war veteran, and how he is homeless and living with his son in his red jeep.

What I learned:

We learned that in our topic of veterans there are many sub-topics such as homelessness. homelessness is the biggest issue in this film and it need s to be more recognized by the community.

What I learned about Social Justice “work” and/or Civil and Human rights “work” from this fieldwork:

as I said we learned a ton about how homelessness is a major issue for social justice
