What I did:

We looked at an exhibit in the New York Historical Society Museum about the Vietnam war and all the effects it had on our society here in America.

What I learned:

We learned about the war and how when the veterans came home, they were hated by the civilians.people called them baby killers. There was a lot of controversy surrounding this war.

What I learned about Social Justice “work” and/or Civil and Human rights “work” from this fieldwork:

we learned that not only are some veterans not treated the way they should, but that they should by the people, but also that they weren’t being treated the way they should by the society.
