David Chang along with Taylor came to LREI to present what the meaning of environmental justice is, how we are affected by it, and what we can do. Cole had emailed them in advance to set up a time to come. Cole and I introduced them to the class, then they began their presentation. They first went over the meaning of environmental justice, then they went into detail about the issues in NYC and the country that have to do with environmental justice. We all participated in an activity that included writing down one thing that had to do with several topics within environmental justice. I focused wrote briefly about having more green spaces and what we could do to get more of them in poor neighborhoods. The room was active and concentrated on David and Tiffany.  When they left the grade had a much bigger understanding of the meaning of environmental justice.
