During our visit to the college, we met many people who were passionate about social justice as well as current issues with the government. When we went to the workshop, Caleb and I were very shy because we were the youngest ones there and it was very awkward. However, he and I both generated multiple questions for the social justice lawyer that were there, and due to the fact I had to leave early, he asked the questions for me. During the fieldwork, we learned a lot about how Donald trump and the new all republican government with having and effect on the united states and social justice issues. While the conversation itself was not directly linked to our topic, it was the information gathered as well as the experience of comfort from other people that made it significant. We saw so many different ethnicities and types of people in one room, it was amazing to see everyone coming together for a good cause. Nowadays people always end up arguing over something which always has the name “Trump” in it. It was so impactful to finally be able to just be comfortable with the people around you despite them being stranger
