We met with one of WEACT’s head officials David Chang. We had an interview with David Chang over the phone. David Chang’s goal is to provide poor communities with the tools he has to offer. his he works with the tools to improve their health and their environment. We learned about how our new President, Donald J. Trump, is not taking the environment seriously. Our group will be doing some more research on Donald Trump and his new actions toward the environment. A question I have is how much will Donald Trump reduce the EPA’s size, and how will he explain firing all of those people when one of his main goals as a President is to create jobs. David Chang also talked about how his organization will be affected by Donald Trump’s disbelief in the environment. He said that it may impact him by the funding he gets by the government. I thought that this phone interview helped our group more understand what the new President will do.
