On Friday my group and I went to Jack’s coffee store to meet with Donna Dees. Donna Dees is the founder of Million Mom March which was the largest protest against gun violence. During this fieldwork we took notes and recorded Donna talking. This was a very important interview for our group because Donna Dees is a very busy person and it’s very hard to meet with her and to get in touch. It was a good interview but we sat outside in the cold which was hard. Something I learned while taking to Donna was that many states had different policies such as In Vermont you can own a gun at 16 years old which really shocked me. This fieldwork was huge for us because Donna Dees was so helpful. She gave us many different ideas on how we can progress on our project. This was definitely a very good meeting.
