We walked into the Taylor Swift Experience thinking it would be a museum based on celebrity drama or past boyfriends or magazine rumors. However, I was very impressed by the exhibit. It was all about Taylor’s accomplishments as a musician and the talents she had. They had videos of each of her grammy speeches and she talked a lot about her record label. I know some celebrities have signed with a record label and were unhappy because their music or their look wasn’t what they wanted it to be. Taylor shared how she really wanted her songs to be her songs and her record label accepted that and allowed her to be herself. We chose to visit the museum because Taylor is a really great woman and a good role model for her fans. She isn’t afraid to go outside without makeup or wear sweatpants like other celebrities are. Taylor worked hard to get to where she is and didn’t let anyone get in the way. She was a really influencial person in our project because of her power and determination.
