Flow: For Love of Water, is a Documentary focused on big water companies and how they’re treating people around. It’s also about how water pollution is affecting the water, and the serious tolls it’s taking on our limited water supply. One of the things one of the scientists was talking about briefly was that: “We are discovering that in the in the water of the Seine in the last five years fish are changing sex. There are only females. There are no males.” (7:36). This is horrible as it is, but later on I learned that in some country the water company forces a town to move just so they can pump water from the ground. They say that they will pay the people, and that they will have clean water, it’s all a lie. In Bolivia 1 out of every 10 children die before age of 5 because of a lack of clean drinking water. There is low sperm counts in fish, amphibians and humans counts and are blamed on pesticides in US. water (National Geographic, 2005). And it is said that Atrazine contamination has also been linked with increased incidence of: prostate cancer, breast cancer, and ovarian cancer. These are all really horrible things that happen because of water. Another problem is that eventually Earth is going to run out of fresh water for us to drink. That then begs the question: What will happen to us then?
