My group went to interview Noa Meyer who works with 10,000 located in Goldman Sachs. 10,000 women is an organization that helps women in different countries start their own small business. When we first met Noa she showed us a video about 10,000 women and what they do, there was one women that produced her own successful company with them. She is the director of 10,000 women and has been working their since the beginning. She grew up in Washington DC; after she graduated college she didn’t know what she wanted to do, and eventually worked for Hillary Clinton in the White House. Clinton was the one who introduced her to starting a company that helped women with small business get started. Noa was never discriminated by her gender going into this profession but she has heard many stories. She also never had trouble balancing her home and work life, since her husband works from home and cooks and takes care of the kids while she is at work.

During our interview she told some stories that had happened in the past like, a women who had no training what so ever, and her father was going to retire and she took over his company and with the help of 10,00 women they were able to double the people that worked their and doubled the income. Not only that but they were able to incorporate equal pay and if a women worked more they would earn more then the men, no matter what. There have been amazing business that have become very successful because of the 10,000 women and Noa Meyers.
