On December 18th, 2015 we went to one of the buildings that holds the organization Dress for Success (32 east 31st street). Dress for Success is an organization that provides interview and job clothes for women who can’t afford to buy very fancy clothes. It is hard to get jobs without professional looking outfits. They also provide makeup and hold mock job interviews to prepare these women and help them get the job. We met with a very nice lady, Beverly, who welcomed us warmly. After Beverly told us a more in depth description of the organization than we knew before she showed us what we would be doing and where we would be working. We spent from about 12:30-3:30 organizing clothes that people had donated. We arranged them by size and color. It was a really fun experience and it was nice at the end to see how good it looked color coordinated. After we were finished and we were leaving Beverly and some other very nice ladies gave us each small gifts which included: Nail polish, lip gloss, and scarves. We had a really fun time and learned a lot.
