WE met at city Hall with around 500 other people on the flaHall with around 500 other people. We then proceeded to march around hall for around an hour. When the finished we gather around and listens as some politicians made a Speach. Although we couldn’t hear them, it was interesting to talk with the general public about what they thought. Listening into their chants really taught us about what the general public thought about these issues. It was also really fun to chime in and make our voices heard. There was a real sense of community, and everyone wanted the same thing. A women came up and asked us what we thought about these issues, it was cool to see that people cared about what we thought. Although we didn’t learn the most during this fieldwork it was lots of fun and felt good to make a difference.
