The Confrence had many young adults talk about what they were doing in their communities, and other peoples communities. One kid was campaigning for the imatter movement. Another Columbia student filled us in with his plots to sue ther government along with 21 other young Americans. 2 young someritans from upstate New York talked about their affiliations with CJSL, and what they were doing to help the environment. We learned a lot about new companies and how they were helping children realize there has to be a difference and make that difference. It was also interesting to talk with the kids after. We talked with one girl about pressuring our congressman to make it mandatory to learn about climate change. This way everyone has to know about how big companies are poisoning our envirement and our lives. Overall it was pretty interesting to learn about what kids like us are doing to make a difference. It was great to see what people our age are doing to help the climate, but it wasn’t really helpful and we didn’t really learn as much as we were hoping to.
