November 29th, my group and I went to the global climate change march. Brian Torres, a man who we previously interviewed, met us at the march and filmed us. Before the march, we met at Maisy’s house and made signs, I also brought flower crowns and a plant hat. We walked over to City Hall where the march took place and joined a few people who were already marching. We got some flyers from a few organizations. We marched around City Hall once before a reporter stopped us to ask some questions. Then we kept marching, we held up signs and chanted. After the march people gathered around for a discussion. We couldn’t really see because we were short and in the back. Then Brian took a few photos of us and we left. We met a man who was protesting about a future pipeline. He also talked about a very long gas pipeline that passes right through a nuclear power plant. After meeting with the man we left the march and headed back to Maisy’s house where are parents picked us up.
