We are doing our part to help end poverty for the 43 million Americans that have to suffer below the poverty line. Our group goal is to raise awareness for the poverty that is unseen by most. Other countries look at America like a plethora of wealth but that isn’t the case. Over 40 million Americans live below the poverty line and every day is a struggle. They can’t or barely hold down a steady home, and they are forced by their low income to buy unhealthy things for them and it shows on their children. It becomes a vicious cycle of poverty in families and passes on from generation to generation. We are fighting to end this cycle by volunteering and raising awareness for poverty. We are doing our part to help slow down poverty from tearing up this nation and dividing it even further.
