1)West 69th Street, Manhattan

“If you live on the Upper West Side, it’s a must to check out this block that is fully decked out in Halloween decor. From mummy graveyards to traditional spider-webbed doors, this block does it right! Police typically block this area off from traffic from 4 pm-10 pm for trick-or-treaters, so there is tons of time to snag candy. 2)Windsor Terrace/Kensington, Brooklyn

“These neighboring Brooklyn hoods are packed with primo blocks for tricking-or-treating: In Windsor Terrace, the streets east of Prospect Park West and tucked between Prospect Park and the expressway—especially Vanderbilt Street, Reeve Place, Sherman Street, Windsor Place, Howard Place, and Fuller Place—are Halloween gold. In Kensington, the spookiest street is East 4th Street, between Caton and Church Avenues. It’s closed to traffic and all the residents contribute something to the massive block party. 3)West Chelsea, Manhattan
