Looking for a fun thing to do this weekend in the city that never sleeps? 

Ride on Giant Glowing Seesaws! Recently, an art installation of glowing seesaws have been added to the bustling midtown streets (Broadway between 37th & 38th) and will stay until February 1st.  And these glowing seesaws aren’t small, they are anywhere from 16 to 24 feet! Go Ice Skating with a View of the Manhattan Skyline! The William Ice Rink located in a hotel in Brooklyn is a great place to spend a day! The tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for children. You are able to skate, as well as enjoy the beautiful Manhattan skyline, not to mention the incredible hot chocolate!

 

Ride Bumper Cars on Ice! Available until February 28th, are ice bumper cars at the Bryant Park rink! A quote from TimeOut magazine states, “Its hours are as follows: Sunday, Wednesday, Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm, and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 2 pm to 7 pm. You can bet the spots will fill up faster than you can say, “ouch, my neck,” so book your session sooner rather than later.” 

 

Visit The Butterfly Conservatory! The Butterfly Conservatory located on Central Park West is a beautiful place to spend some time! A quote from TimeOut magazine states, “In what feels like a makeshift rain forest, a winding path leads you through an enchanted landscape where you’ll marvel at 500 vibrant butterflies fluttering in the air. Plus, you can reconnect with nature while staying nice and cozy in the temperature-controlled exhibition room, set to a balmy 80°F to protect these winged beauties.” It is open every day from 10-5:45 pm and tickets are $23!
