12th Grade – Spanish 4

SPANISH IV – 12th Grade

Objective:

This course continues to strengthen oral communication and reading comprehension skills while reinforcing grammatical knowledge. Writing and research skills are also developed through looking at a selection of Spanish and Latin American artists and poets, including Dalí, Picasso, Velázquez, Rivera, Kahlo, Lam, Botero, Machado, Paz, and Neruda. We will also focus intensively on cultural studies of Latin America and Spain, with particular emphasis on cusine, society, and the economy of the Spanish-speaking world.
