This is my model of an atom. It has a bumpy texture and two parts connected. When I made this model I was thinking about the uneven texture and how to make it look bigger with a different color because i was all out of Yellow. My motel resembles Democritus’s idea of what an atom is. It was about 440 BCE when Democritus said that everything was made up of small particles surrounded by empty space. I think my model is similar because Democritus’s idea of a atom looks kind of like my model.

In science class we learned that everything is made of atoms. An atom is made of Neutrons, Protons and Electrons. The Electrons circle around the Protons and Neutrons to make and atom. Protons are positive, Electrons are negative and Neutrons have no charge.
