Charlie’s Brooklyn Museum Blog Post

Hi everyone,

My topic was materials. My experience giving my docent talk at The Brooklyn Museum was fun because you get tell the people in your group about what you learned and get to hear cool things that other people in your group learned. Sometimes I get nervous when I performing something but, this time I did not. I felt good because I liked teaching people about things I know and they don’t. One thing I learned about note-taking is you should write in your own words. When it comes to taking notes, I used to write in long sentences, but now I write in small notes. One thing that is still challenging for me about note taking is I still have to look at a book.
