The facade was sturdy, big, and wide.

Bricks with decorative designs.

Peddlers screaming and hawking their wares.

Kids playing games.

Bang! someone hit a homerun.

crackle, crackle.

Smoke and flames started to rise.

Tragic.

146 people died in the fire.

Some people jumped out windows.

Some people walked across ladders to get to safety.

Locked doors.

Long hours.

Low pay.
