My Arabian Nights Story

Revision is thinking about your work with fresh eyes. If you go away and then come back, you can think about it differently. Revision is like editing, but editing is the mechanics, revision is the actual writing.

I think that I did a good job with this writing piece. I didn’t revise it to much, because I liked the first draft. I added an element of magic. I hope you like this story!

Quarter 1 Portrait Project

In art, we drew 3 different portraits of ourselves with different materials. I like one of the drawings I did, but the other drawings I did didn’t really look like me. I used colored pencils, markers and oil pastels. I also used a picture of me and pencil.

Cloisters Field Trip

I liked the Cloisters because we got to learn about art. In social studies, we are mostly learning about the life style of medieval people. At the Cloisters we got to learn about a different aspect. It relates to social studies because most of the paintings were related to religion and we are learning about religion. This is a picture of my group outside, in a garden at the Cloisters.IMG_8221
