I was absolutely stunned and in awe of the things I saw in China. I really got to indulge in the culture surrounding me which was an opportunity that I am so glad to have gotten. I gotta try a bunch of different traditional Cuisines and that really pushed me to expand my palate to new interesting foods. I learned how people their function and how they live their lives. I also learned a lot about the history of China. For example, I learned about the Forbidden city and how It’s doors have half spheres in rows of nine because the Emperor claimed the number nine and no one could use it. I found that very interesting and I want to know more about why that is. My favorite part of the trip is definitely when we did pottery in Suzhou. Overall the trip was so much fun.
