Over the summer I went to sleep away camp for two weeks. Let me just say it was horrible. It wasn’t till the second to last day that I actually started to have fun. The main reason of why I did not have fun is because of the way the day ran. Every period you could choose from 3 different activities and sometimes the activities would be arts/crafts, cooking, and dance. I did not want to do those choices but I had no choice. The reason I started to have fun on the second to last day is because just then they started to give us interesting choices. I am never going to forget that camp because of how horrible it was.
Eli, I’m sorry to hear you didn’t like this camp. Being away from home can be hard if you aren’t having fun. Do you think you’ll give sleep away camp another try next year at a different camp?
