Student share activity:

Pass a soft ball, plush toy, beanbag, etc. Pick a song (something students would be familiar with) and play it as they pass it around the room. Students will quickly understand that the point is to get rid of the ball as fast as possible. At a good moment, stop the music.  The student holding the ball must answer a question, share about their weekend, etc. Repeat the process for a few minutes (or longer if the class is particularly enthralled) and even get involved yourself if you can.
