I am scared of the algorithm in 5th grade. I am going to work on my messiness. I did not erase well. I have to work on my handwriting. But I am also excited to do math in fifth grade. I am good at number lines and everything else but algorithm. I don’t really like algorithm as much as my friends do but I am working on it.

Hi!  My name is Bob.  I get made fun of in school because my head is a weird shape.  The shape of my head is uneven and lopsided. I love school because we get to do math.  I love math because I enjoy the numbers and I can count on them.  I don’t like reading because there can be many meanings to words.

I have in my family my mom my dad and my sister Eloise.  I love playing all sports but my favorite is soccer.  One reason why I like soccer is that it has to do with math.  I use geometry to figure out which angles put the ball through two defenders and pass the ball to the person on the other side so he or she can meet the ball and score.  Even though I have a weird shaped head, I hope that people can give me a chance and be my friend.

I have decided to try out for a travel soccer team.  There are many different clubs.  I have tried out for four clubs.  Each tryout was different.  We did different drills.  But the most important part was the teammates. In soccer, there are many different teams that all play within a club. The Bulldogs team which is part of the New York Stars club has the nicest players.  They did not make fun of me and they passed the ball to me.  I felt part of the team.  This team travels around the world which I think is cool.  I hope I make it on the team Bulldogs. I just heard that I made it on the travel team I wanted!!  My team name is the Bulldogs.  The team was really good in the fall because we had a good coach and teamwork. Our record was 13 – 0.  We were undefeated.

In the playoffs we won our first game 3-0.  I scored a hat trick which means I scored three goals. In the round of 16 we won 2-1. I scored the winning goal. In the quarterfinals we won 1-0.  It was a hard game but I had an amazing assist.  In the semifinals we won 5-4. I scored another hat trick.  In the finals we made history in the Little Kids Hall of Fame. We won 18-0.  This wasn’t a fair win because the other team, Orion, had no subs. The game was played at Randall’s Island our home field so the fans were going crazy. We scored the most in any final Little Kids Cup Tournament.  It was an exciting time.  In the winter we won the Winter Cup.  I would tell you about winning the Winter Cup but I think I may have bored you to death already.

I will tell you that I scored the most goals on the team maybe in the whole cup and league with 31 goals.  I average 2 goals a game!  I am proud of this accomplishment.  I still am made fun of but I have a lot more friends and I feel good about myself.  My teammates helped with me getting made fun of.  There were some players on some of the teams we played that were really mean to me. Sometimes they refused to play against me because of my head. The Bulldogs stood up for me by telling the players to stop. They stood up for me and told me how important I am to the team. I don’t even think about my lopsided head anymore.  You could say soccer saved me.   If you want you could even say I am popular.

We did the most work on it and we spent the most time on it.  This is my favorite book review because I did the most details on it the details were I wrote about the characters really well.

I wrote this review really well.  I worked really hard on it.  I liked my review.  I like this review because I wrote about the characters really well.
