Photoshop Project

My project is a picture I took outside my window. One day the view looked very nice so I decided to take a picture. The first thing I did was mask out the sky and changed the color. I made it purple because I thought it looked really good on the skyline. I wanted to make a concert vibe so I placed a few people on top of the building looking at the sky. I made a pattern of people looking up at the sky.  Then I placed a UFO in the sky and put a performer on the UFO so it looked like all the people were looking at the performer. I scaled the performer to fit the UFO and image. I would have put a picture of my art here but it got deleted based on technical difficulties.

Art Eye Drawing

image2-1The name of my piece is my eye. I created this work of art by taking a picture of my eye and printing it out then I used the picture to help guide through the drawing. Some things I learned while creating this eye drawing was shading technique. The marks around my eye was from shading. My favorite part is the pupil because it has a lot of detail. If I could change something in this project would be my eyebrows because they look sloppy and not neat. While making this eye drawing I was surprised how easy it is to draw an actual eye.

Art Homework

My favorite technique was hatching, for a few reason. One reason was it was a simple and easy technique to use, and I think it can be used in a lot of art projects. It was not hard to draw the grid, I think it was very interesting how 6b pencil compares to a 2h pencil.

Favorite Art Piece

Screenshot 2016-06-08 at 9.22.35 AMThe reason why this piece is my favorite is because I put a lot hard work into it. It was very fun and interesting to make this work of art. I made this to look like a medieval  s.

Artist Statement

Somethings I learned while creating is you have to think outside the box to make your piece very creative. My favorite part is the map on the foam board. If I could change something about it would be to make my letters more clear. While making I was surprised how hard it was to draw letters on foam board. Something else I want to share about this piece is I had a lot of fun making it.

Then I put the letters on the foam board. I learned while creating this piece is you have to take your time on important things. My favorite part is the map on the foam board. If I could change something it would be to make the letters more neat. While making I was surprised that cutting foam board could be very hard. Something I want to share is this was a very fun project.

Subway Map Project

Screenshot 2016-05-11 at 9.47.42 AMMy Idea of this project is to cut out my name in subway letters out of foam board. Then I will put them on a different piece of foam board. On the different piece of foam board I will put a cut up map of places that are important to me. My next step is to color the subway letters and then put the map on the foam board. After that I will attach the letters to the map.

Guild Art Project

In art lately we have been working on a Guild project using felt. You make a picture that represent your guild, your character, and were you are from. I have two men working on a piece of armor in the front. In the back there is an Indian flag because that is were my character is from. Also in the back there are tools and a fire. There is a broader of yellow for style. I liked this project and thought I did very well. I added a lot of detail and hard work. Overall this project was very fun.
