I think atoms look like this because we were watching History Of The World In Two Hours and the atoms looked like this. It was a little bit challenging making this because I had a really good picture in my head of what an atom looks like, but when I saw what shapes where in Tinkercad, the shapes made it hard for me to show the picture I had in my head. I was thinking a lot about trying not to think about what the most realistic atom would be, but what I thought an atom looks like.
I think your atom looks really realistic. I agree with you that it was hard to make an atom look like how you want it to look on tynkercad.
My atom most closely resembles JJ Thomson’s atom model because my atom model was representing a sphere holding something inside of it. JJ Thomson’s atom model is the only atom model that closely represents my atom.
An accuracy about my atom is that my atom has protons inside. An inaccuracy about my atom was that my atom did not have any electrons spinning around my atom. My atom also did not have any neutrons in it.
