Summer Reflection

This summer, I have gone to, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and London. I entered the Little League World Series, and I’ve played baseball camp all the other weeks. I have seen many great things, some of which I have posted about. I’ve seen, Big Ben, I’ve seen Westminster Abbey, and I’ve seen many, many museums. I have also seen two castles, which I realized can vary in shape, size, color, material, and more. I built my sense of tolerance, while spending time with my younger cousins, who all are boys, and are 9, 8, and 6. They look up to me, and want to be with me all the time. Sometimes, I just needed a break. I’ve learned, that even if there is someone that might be giving you a hard time, you can’t let it get the better of you. It’s not worth quitting, or not doing something that you love. I think that this summer has been a big step for me in a lot of things, and I look forward to the school year.

The London Eye

While I was in London, I went on the London Eye. It’s the biggest ferris wheel in the world. From the very top, you can see twenty-five miles. I could see most of the famous landmarks in London, including but not limited to: Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, The Parliament, and London Bridge. It was really cool seeing that much of London from a bird’s-eye view. The line to get on it was huge. They put up to forty people in a car.
