Art Q3

Fabric Collage

One of the project’s we made in quarter three is the Fabric Collage. We all made fabric collages based on our medieval guilds, I am in the Butcher, Baker, Candlestick Maker Guild. I really enjoyed this project and working with fabric. It wasn’t really challenging for me, but was easy. These are the steps of me making the Fabric Collage.

Geometric Pattern

We made Geometric Patterns because in the medieval ages, people had to make geometric patterns out of tiles for designs on the walls. This project was especially challenging for me because figuring out how to use the circle tool was really hard for me. Also using the exacto knife was hard for me, this project wasn’t one my strong points.

Illuminated Letter

In the medieval ages people drew illuminated letters in books for the first letter. For this project, we drew our own illuminated letters, we could use any material we wanted. For example, I used watercolor. I think this was the project I enjoyed the most in the third quarter. I wasn’t hard or easy for me. I didn’t really have any difficulties, I think I was the most successful in this project.
