We had previously met with Sister Mary Ellen O’Boyle where we had a very great conversation with her about sex trafficking. The talk we had went so well that she very kindly offered to come to our school on a different day and talk to our grade about what she had already discussed with us. So we scheduled for her to come on November 13th. We were all so happy that from our first fieldwork, we already organized our second. So when November 13th rolled around, we set up the classroom with the chairs lined up in front of the speaker’s chair. My group and I went downstairs to meet her in the lobby. We saw her walking in, so we stood up and greeted her when she came through the door. We went to the classroom to discuss what she was going to talk about with the grade, and after everyone settled into the room, she began. She went above and beyond to make her presentation informative and very worth the time. She introduced us to websites, ways we can help brought in flyers, books, and even chocolate for people. I, along with the rest of my group, was extremely grateful that she met with us for the second time and really helped us learn about a subject that is really right around the corner from us.
