What you didn’t know about Valentines Day!

February 14 is a day all about love, but have you ever wondered how that even started? Well, I’m here to tell you the history of valentine’s day. This day is all in the name of St. Valentine. Valentine’s day is surrounded in mystery, though we do know that February has always been a month of romance. We also know that St. Valentine is of both Christian and ancient Roman descendants. At one point a man name Claudius ll said that men who made better soldiers were single. St. Valentine didn’t like that, she thought that it was cruel and unfair.

Origins of Valentines Day

Some believe that the fourteenth of February commemorates St. Valentines death but others disagree. Others believe that a Christian church may have decided to place St. Valentine’s feast day in the middle of February.
