Tenements

Over the week we have been getting homework articles about tenements. In those
times there was dirty water so everybody got sick a lot. On December 5 we took a field trip to some tenements. We did not go inside but we sat down across the street and did an assignment and drew a picture of the building that we picked. On December 6 we shared facts about tenements and spent almost the whole morning doing that. One thing that I learned was tenements are dark. Jake, the teacher, learned that pigs at the time roamed the streets. BY ZACHARY.
