Info Graphics Reflection

One thing I learned during the info graphics project was there is a death in NYC every 9.1 seconds. There were a lot of facts about the city, so it was a bit hard to choose. A skill I learned during this project, (I am not a expert) is masking things out of pictures that you want. At first it was a bit hard, but then later, I found it more easy, and fun, even though I only Photoshopped one picture. I thought I did a good job.

I think at one point this skill will come in handy, but I don’t really know when. Maybe at home, if I want to Photoshop something for a picture, or a project, then I’ll know how.  I really did like this project, and I felt that I was not stuck all the time, and that I was having fun with this project. I would like to use Photoshop again, Because I liked it. (I didn’t do Illustrator so I don’t really have a sense of that.) And I would like doing info graphics again, because I know what to do.

One thing I found difficult was in masking the image, because if I did something wrong and didn’t notice, and come back later, I could not do command Z. One thing I enjoyed was finding pictures and seeing if I could Photoshop it and if it was too hard. I really liked the project. It was fun for me because I felt like I knew something, and was not just stuck it a pile of tar and starting to give up because I needed a teacher all the time. In the end (now where else would it be) I don’t think I need a teacher 24 7, and that I can do it myself, mostly. I know it sounds cheesy, and I hate cheesy stuff, trust me, but I really liked this project, (I’ve said that a thousand times in the reflection, right?) even though I got stuck a lot.
