Poem Reflection

HVC

Miss you, HVC

Summer time is very near

But spring just began

This poem is a haiku, a haiku is a poem with three stanzas. The first stanza has five syllables, the second has seven syllables and the third has five syllables. Haiku’s are usually about nature and beauty, but I wrote a poem about my camp. I decided to write a poem about my camp because it’s a really special place for me and I want to remember it in a poem. I usually write poems about special places or things to me.

The explanation for this poem is: The first stanza means- I am missing my camp, HVC (Hidden Valley Camp.)

The second stanza means- Summer time is really close, that means that camp is really close.

The third stanza means- Spring just started so, that means I have a little amount of time until its time for camp.
