This is our Chinese New Year performance.

This year, each grade who studies Mandarin, comes together and we all have performances or projects that we share. The sixth grade did tai chi, we got about a month to practice it.

This is my “Who the Heck is This? (zhe shi shei?)” project.

This is the translation to this- He is Chinese, he is a man. He has black hair. He has long hair. His hair is a little bit curly, a little bit straight. His favorite colors are blue and orange. He isn’t tall he isn’t short. His Chinese is very good. His English is also very good. He has one mom, one dad. He doesn’t have a older sister, a older brother, a younger sister and a younger brother.

This is the pin yin to this project- ta shi zhong guo ren, ta shi nan ren. ta you hei se de tou fa. ta you chang de tou fa. ta de tou fa yi dian juan, yi dian zhi. ta zui xihuan de yan se shi lan se he cheng se de. ta bu gao bu ai. ta de zhong wen shuo de hen hao. ta de ying wen shuo de yei hen hao. ta you yi ge mama, yi ge baba. ta mei you mama, baba, meimei, he didi.

In the “Who the Heck is This?” project, we chose a person to write a description about only in characters. We then read aloud our description of the person to the class, and the class would guess who this person is. I described Xin.
