What is the purpose of homework?
Homework usually consists of problem solving, reading, or writing, done at home. Teachers believe the purpose of homework is to boost what was taught in class, make sure children understand concepts, and get children to expand what they learned in class.
Does homework cause stress and anxiety?
For many kids homework stresses them out and can increase the rate of anxiety.
