On February 24th, Nike released an ad called Nike – Dream Crazier. There has been some controversy around this ad. Some people say it is empowering, but others say Nike is trying to get business by bringing up important social justice issues. But truly this ad has encouraged girls to stand up for their rights and believe in themselves, in sports and in general. It talks about how women are treated unfairly and less than men, but really we are strong and capable. This has empowered girls all over the world. It sends a very important message to women everywhere. Many people don’t know what this has to do with Nike and are confused.
