Around 45 million Americas will decide to go on a diet for the new year and around 95 percent will fail. In the month of January, the most athletic gear and gym memberships are purchased. There is a $66 billion dollar fitness industry. When 95 percent of diets fail people will try again and repeat themselves. Genes are a large part of where our weight comes from. The environment does not play as big of a role in our weight as we might think. It mostly matters on someone’s genes. When people go on diets they go from eating lots of food to eating a lot less. This form of weight loss will screw up your metabolism and you might end up being heavier than before. So do not go or vast diets and change what you are eating.
